CCR#4

We integrated technologies into our project by the whole process of putting it together. My group and I originally used publisher to put the magazine together, but we didn't like exactly how the magazine came out. It looked a little to bland and not very creative, we wanted it to look more as if it was a real magazine. That's why we decided to used the program Canva. Canva allowed us to have more creative thought and have a more professional look to it. Making it able to have more appeal to our audience and any of our readers.

CCR#2

Our magazine engages with our audience by giving them the chance to learn about new ways to improve their fishing game and about different types of fish and fishing gear. Our magazine gives a real appeal to our audience, showing them the truth about what fishing truly has to offer and the great wonders the waters hide.We decided to create an Instagram promoting our magazine, giving an inside look the world of fishing that Florida Angler brings. The Instagram allows you to understand how we find some our stories we put in our magazines, by real people just like you. Instagram gives us a way to connect with our readers and followers of our company. Instagram also allows us to promote any events we host and also give shout outs to our readers. Our magazine would be distributed online and in-stores. We would offer a digital copy online, which if you are a member of our magazine you are able to download it onto your computer, or you have the option to subscribe to receive a copy to your door. Also, you would be able to go out and buy a copy of the magazine in stores to enjoy anytime you like. My group and I decided to do create an app offering special edition videos, tips, and coupons you can use at certain fishing stores.

CCR#1

Our magazine challenges conventions in many different ways. To start, our magazine cover  has our title in large font with a bright color drawing people into the magazine. We decided to add text fonts saying things "outdoor lifestyle" and "exclusive articles" to bring attention to our reader about the variety of articles we have in our magazine. We used mostly all bright colors for our titles and subtitles to make everything in our magazine pop. in our table of contents, we decided to change our main page numbers to not go in a line, but to have more of a zigzag pattern. Along with making it the fonts more bold and creative. For my main article post, I chose to use different fonts for my actual article and title to show a different, and it easier to focus on thing at a time. This magazine represent social groups who are interested in fish and the sport of fishing.

Third Quarter Submission

We developed our magazine by choosing the photos, the layouts, the article topics, and much more in a way we felt fit what we want to sell to our audience the most. All of these choices had a reason behind them, I felt they were the best choices because they were able to convey the message across to our magazine on what we wanted people to see. We decided to make the look of our magazine more eye-catching and interesting in my opinion, allowing the magazine to draw more attention to it itself and further the success of the magazine.

Article// Revisions

Lastly for my article, my group and I decided to change almost everyone about involving layout, colors, fonts, and use a couple different pictures. But we decided in the end to not really change anything about the content in our articles. The fonts we chose to use were Arimo, Josefin sans, and Alieron regular, while using more pastel like colors for the headings and I decided to use black for the content, so it was very clear and easy to read. Also, my team and I made sure we added page numbers and branding to every page to add the extra touch.

Magazine Cover// Revisions

Secondly, we decided to change how our cover of our magazine to something for creative and presentable, more of what an actual magazine resembles. We made these changes because of the feedback we received from our class and teacher, we changes our pictures, fonts, layout, colors to grab the attention of the reader. I chose a different picture for the cover because it added more of  an appealing look to the magazine. We changed our font styles League Spartan, Open sans, and Alieron Heavy instead because they looked more organized and neat than the old ones in my opinion. We also added some extra text like "exclusive articles" and "outdoor lifestyle" to add more appeal to the magazine.

Table of Contents//Revision

When my group and I received feedback from our class and teacher, it had us rethink a couple of things about our magazine. To started we decided to edit our table of contents by changing the layout, fonts, size, colors, and some pictures for a presentable look. We decided to go put five pictures of the right-hand side of the page and added some branding on the top and bottom of the page. The fonts included in our table of contents are Lato and Abril Fatface varying between colors and sizes throughout. We also made sure to add the page number to the table contents as the final touch.

Distribution plan

My group and I plan to distribute our magazine in many different ways, we decided on using traditional and digital distribution. Our magazine would be sold in fishing stores, book stores, and even local grocery stores, but that is not the only way we will distribute it. Either on our website or our app there would be a section where you can subscribe to the magazine electronically or have it delivered monthly to your front door. Not only are you able to subscribe to our magazine, you can also get the inside scoop or tips and tricks about fishing as well. Also, you are able to receive updates on what is going on in The Florida Angler Community.
